Young artists know their own minds.

When building rainbows they know if they want a rainbow that looks like the rainbow in the sky or a rainbow filled with only their favorite colors. They know if they want a rainbow that is organized with each piece neatly placed or a rainbow with pieces randomly scattered crisscrossing each other. They know if they want to take their time deciding the placement of each colorful piece or if they want to hurry as quickly as possible to get done so they can move on to other activities in the classroom.

Luckily there is no right or wrong way to make a rainbow.
